Steve came across our LEDs when his guitar tech Thomas Nordeg met Martin Sims in L.A. Thomas arranged a meeting in London with Martin and he took his hot rod strat to be LEDed. When Thomas returned to L.A and started rehearsals with Steve for his up and coming 99/2000 tour he showed Steve the Strat and Steve said he had to use it in the show. Then after meeting at the London astoria gig Steve asked Martin to work on his new Jem. He arranged for Ibanez to send the neck to Sims for fitting prior to being included in his arsenal of stage guitars.

Sims has fitted 12 front face and 12 side edge LEDs in blue with magnifiers plus an amazing headstock laser.
